Bruges

Click for Amsterdam post

We went here through Lindbergh Tours in Amsterdam.  They took us on a bus (3 hours each way) in the morning, dropped us off , and took up home in the afternoon.  Best decision.

They speak Dutch (they call it Flemish).

This entire town looks like it’s stuck in the Nutcracker.

Not much to say because we only went for a few hours, but it was totally worth it because I’ve never seen such an idyllic, gorgeous town.

Food

This is THE land of chocolate and waffles.  (Belgian Waffles anyone?).  There are delicious chocolatiers everywhere.  We bought our chocolates from Stefs and Dumon.  AMAZING.

We ate at La belle vue: Belgian waffles with the greatest ice cream I’ve ever tasted, beef stew with fries, mussels, it was delicious.  So very delicious.
